Dear First Step Outpatient Centre,
I am writing this letter to express my heartfelt gratitude to you and your team for the exceptional care and support that you provided to me during my time of need. As a working mother battling with prescription drugs alcohol and cocaine, I know that without your guidance and help, I would not have been able to achieve my sobriety and become the healthy happy and clean healthy mother that I am today.
When I first walked through your doors, I was lost, hopeless and scared. I had been struggling with prescription drugs and addiction for years and had reached a point where I felt like there was no way out. However, your team welcomed me with open arms, without judgment or condemnation. They gave me a sense of hope and purpose that I had never experienced before.
Throughout my treatment, I was consistently shown care and compassion, from the moment I entered sessions, I knew that I was in good hands. The counsellors were kind, understanding and patient. They took the time to listen to me, understand my struggles, and help me develop the skills I needed to overcome my addiction.
I also appreciated the various resources that you provided to help me on my journey to recovery. From the support groups to the one-on-one counselling sessions, I always felt like I had the tools I needed to succeed. The education and resources you provided have been invaluable to my journey, and I am forever grateful.
Today, I am proud to say that I am a recovering addict, a healthy mother, and a person who has found a new purpose in life. I owe all of this to first Step and the Houghton House team. The support, guidance, and encouragement have been instrumental in my success.
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you have done for me. You have made an indelible impact on my life, and I will be forever grateful. Your commitment to helping people like me overcome addiction is truly inspiring, and I hope that you continue to help others in need.
